Cool Comedy Video…
Check out this new video from Solid Game Productions featuring Peter Sserwanga:
I don’t know what it is about prequels, but I love them. I love finding out what happened in the past that made Darth Vader such an evil sum-bitch or what put Professor Xavier in a wheelchair. I would have been able to answer the latter, if I was a big Marvel Comics fan, but my comic book reading was limited to Archie, Betty & Veronia and the occasional dabbles in Buster and Beano comics. I am a huge fan of Marvel movies, especially X-MEN. If you haven’t seen it yet, you really need to go check it out. Is is one of the best prequels I have seen in some time. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
SA really is talented in the film industry, check out this advert below by Ogilvy JHB: (recognise anyone from Police Academy?)
Arab Man on Treadmill (Very Funny) -- be patient with this video. It’s well worth the wait
Hey Jude (Very Cute) -- It is amazing how this kid knows all the pauses, the words, the mannerisms etc… Very cool
Cociane thrown on the highway -- I love the commentary in this video…
Ostriches Mating -- if only sex was this easy for human beings…
Budweiser Advert -- It’s always refreshing to see really good ads. (Definitely better than the Maq washing powder ads)
This is very hectic Earthquake footage:

In 2007, I was an extra in the Absolute Vodka Moon advert and I just recently came across the advert on YouTube. It was such good fun filming the advert because there were so many extras and I got to meet some really cool people. The concept for the advert was pretty cool too. It was based on the idea that solar panels were placed on the moon to redirect the sun to Earth so that the moon would be a massive disco ball. Check the clip out… it’s cool:

ABOUT DYLAN:
Dylan Skews is one of South Africa’s fastest rising comedians. Winner of the Nandos Comedy Showdown in 2009 and the winner of Phat Joe’s comedy show in 2010 where he won the title “Cape Town’s next comedian”. SKEWS ME is his debut one man show starting on 14th February at On Broadway. The show will run everyday besides Sunday’s until the 26th February.
As a trained actor, he laces an effortless charm through performance rich sketches and showcases his signature laid back, yet edgy, performance style and interesting brand of delivery allowing the audience into the hilarious thoughts inside his head. Slipping in and out of elaborate impersonations, twisting and turning through a broad anthology of jokes that range from observational material to his unique life experiences. His style is a newfangled hybrid that bounces between the love- able one liner hedonist Mitch Hedberg and the outlandish Richard Pryor.
A noticeable component of his craft is that there is no overt axe to grind outside of pursuing good comedy. Skews has managed to avoid the tired anti consumerist cum counter cultural noise most aspiring acts allow their punchlines to get eclipsed by without sacrificing his indie texture. A captivating blend of edgy city boy antics and pure accessible fun.
This new kid on the block has wasted no time establishing himself on South Africa’s underground comedy circuit and is set to explode on the SA comedy scene. This hot new act is truly hilarious and will have the audience in stitches!

Most of you may know Peter Sserwanga from either Modelbase or Solidgame bur for those of you who have been following the local Cape Town comedy scene, you may know Peter Sserwanga (Pete Swagga) as one the of the comedians who won the 2010 Graca Comedy Showdown, which ultimately led to him performing at the 2010 Nandos Comedy Festival.
He has only been doing comedy for about a year and he has already performed at festivals all over Cape Town including Rocking the Daisies, Synergy and most recently the Giggle Gaggle Comedy Festival in Tulbagh. For those of you who have not had a chance to see this man in action, I have posted up a video of him performing at Saronsberg Theatre in Tulbagh. He is definitely a witty and smart act and he is destined for great things in the industry. Check him out:
Today I decided to search YouTube and see what would pop up if I searched “funniest video”. The first link I came across was an episode of “Whose Line Is It Anyway” where Richard Simmons was a prop on the show. It was quite funny but not the finniest thing I have ever seen. I then proceeded to skim through the videos to see if I could find a real six-pack-causing video. I came across this little gem and I thought I just had to share it with you all:
